This is my interpretation of a scene from the incredibly talented Steve aka's :iconsteve-aka: excellent story 'Holly Part 1' [link] . I would advise you all to read it as it is brilliant. This is the first time we meet Holly in the story, as she gets stuck in the double doors of Craig's restaurant, and has to be helped through by Craig and her long suffering parents.

That one ugly nasty bitch.

Wow! I don't check my DA page for a few days and come back to see this beautiful illustration posted. I am flabbergasted, sir! First rate work, truly amazing! The amount of detail here is just astounding, from the backgrounds to the food-crazed expression on Holly's face. Hell, you even got her painted pudgy toenails down. I can't believe my silly little story could inspire such awesome beauty. Thank you so much for posting this!

Thanks for the kind words. I'm very glad you like it. And it's more than a silly little story - it's a great little story.

If an illustration as wondrous as this can come from my story then I'll concede that it may not be silly.

I'm reminded of Terry Gilliam's style of art when I see this. Though not entirely made out of newspaper or magazine clippings, the detail and anatomy is solid. However your backgrounds need improvement, objects such as the seat throw off the quality of the drawing. All in all, it's a good piece of work.
:iconlunch0304:
You make some good points. That seat does let the whole thing down a bit. I must become less lazy and put more effort into the backgrounds as well as the people. Thanks for the constructive criticism.

Thank you for the favorites and watch.

wow! look how thin her parents are and not just compared to her. can they even eat when shes around. probably not. she seems like the type that would rip out the food from their mouths so she can have it for herself.

nice!
